Features

A new number, or
the one you already use.

Search for an available number and provision it in the dashboard — local, national or toll-free. Already have a number your customers know? Point your carrier’s call forwarding at it and keep the number exactly as it is.

Not sure how to get a number for the AI to answer

The number on our signage can never change

Hard to predict what each number type costs

Number types and countries

Pick a country, choose between local and toll-free, and search what is available. In Japan, the local search is where you find 050 numbers. You can run several numbers side by side for different purposes.

TypeCountriesWhat it is
050 (national)JapanA Japanese IP phone number tied to no area code. A fit for businesses without a storefront, or a line dedicated to the AI.
LocalJapan, US, CanadaA number starting with a local area code. Customers nearby recognise it as a local line.
Toll-freeJapan, US, CanadaThe caller pays nothing. Useful when you want to lower the barrier to getting in touch.

Some numbers require address verification. The monthly price for each type is shown in the dashboard before you claim one.

Everything about numbers, handled here.

Provision a number on the spot

Pick a country and number type, search what is available, and claim it. The number is ready to assign to an agent right away. Some numbers require address verification.

Local, national or toll-free

Choose the type that fits how you want to be reached, across Japan, the United States and Canada.

Keep the number you already have

Set your existing carrier’s call forwarding (such as NTT’s Boiswarp) to the number you provisioned. Nothing to configure on the Sidecall side.

Clear monthly pricing per type

Each number type has its own monthly price, shown before you claim it. Release a number whenever you no longer need it.

Keep the number you use today

This is not porting. You point your existing carrier’s call forwarding at a number you provisioned in Sidecall. Your number stays as it is, and there is nothing special to configure on the Sidecall side.

  1. 1

    Provision a number in Sidecall

Search and claim the number that will receive the forwarded calls.

  2. 2

Set up forwarding with your carrier

In your carrier’s call forwarding service (such as NTT’s Boiswarp), set the forwarding destination to the number you provisioned.

  3. 3

    Assign an AI agent

Assign the agent that answers on the provisioned number, and calls to your current number are handled by the AI.

Calls are routed by the destination number. If you want different handling per source number, provision a separate Sidecall number for each.

Three steps to set up

No complex configuration. Set it up without code and go live the same day.

  1. STEP 1

    Choose country and type

Select the country and number type you want. The monthly price for each type is shown as you choose.

  2. STEP 2

    Search and claim

Filter by digits the number should contain, then claim the one you like.

  3. STEP 3

    Assign it to an agent

Attach a call flow to the number and it starts answering. Forwarding an existing number follows the same steps.

  • You need a new number for an AI receptionist
  • You want a local or national number
